Dredging, Transport and Disposal of up to 1500m3 of material from the Sandspit Marina. Dredging was undertaken utilising a long reach excavator mounted on a deck barge. The excavator was fitted with GPS machine control systems to avoid over excavation. Silt was offloaded into a truck and transported to an approved clean fill site where it was disposed of.
